Security and Safety

Bethea Baptist Retirement Community ensures the security and safety of its residents, guests, and staff.  

Security is on campus seven days a week, and patrols the area every night to maintain a safe environment for your loved ones. Doors are kept locked in certain areas on campus during the day, and each resident has a key to his or her room. The main offices are located at the prime entrance to the facility, and are closely watched by Administrative and Maintenance Staff during the day.

The facility has a unique Call System in every residential room. Every resident has a pendant to wear around the neck. If necessary, the resident presses the button to signal for help. When pressed, the signal and location of the resident is sent to every staff member’s pager. Every bathroom in every residential room and bathroom also includes a pull cord for assistance or help if needed. A certified nurse or CNA visits every resident’s room every hour to visit and help assist the resident if necessary.
